And besides, If you’re still against Breadwinners, but still want a good “Bread-delivery” cartoon, Look no further than Anpanman.
There’s a lot on venomous hate for this show in the comments; and I do agree that ”Love Loaf” was a mediocre episode; but let me tell the haters something. Would you rather have this, or a bland, milquetoast program with cardboard characters, Stock sitcommy plots, and stupid intelligence-insulting dialogue like “You saved my life!” or “Here we go again!”? (I’m looking at YOU, Back at the Barnyard.) I LIKE Breadwinners; the short AND the show. Remember “like” does not equal love. I too dislike the gross humor in this and many other shows. And yes, I do love most of the old Nicktoons, but they’re not as innocent as you think. Example: everyone was grossed out at Squidward getting his toenail ripped off, but not when Stimpy does the same to a Giant’s toenail? I’d talk more, but I’m drawing a blank right now.
PS. I do agree on the glut of SpongeBob on Nick’s weekday afternoon lineup, and that it doesn’t deserve the high ratings it gets.
Tumblr needs to watch this.
All the reblogs.
I think he overdid the review but he’s completely right about the animation being terrible. I don’t understand why this has a fanbase.
You want REALLY horrible animation? Watch Busytown Mysteries.
I don’t care that no one in the US has heard of Doraemon, PLEASE bring this to North America. Even if you have to shoehorn in the voice of Rob Schneider or Drake Bell, I’d STILL watch this.
For those who thought “The Nut Job” was mean-spirited, Compare it to the original 2005 short it was based on; Surly was a much bigger douchebag there.
Remember the scene on Moshi Monsters the movie when Strangeglove stomped on Snoodle’s arm and said “Remember when I said deep down, that I was a good guy?”
That scene looks like the freaking scene of The Lion King, when Scar said “Long live the king…”
Watch this scene and watch the Moshi Monsters movie part again…Does the scene almost looks familiar? XD
I was actually thinking of “Commando”.
Stop moving your high quality cartoon shows to Disney XD. Or even putting them on there exclusively in the first place. Half of America doesn’t have access to that channel.
Even Nick’s smart enough to not do that (much) anymore.
2006 was a very strange year
